So, you’ve decided to go on a trip to Napa Valley. Congratulations on your upcoming adventure! You’re going to have so much fun with wine tastings, vineyard tours, exploring the valley, and spending your nights out on the town. Now, to the burning question in your mind—what should you pack for your trip?

Footwear

If you’re out and about all the time exploring vineyards and wandering through the downtown streets, you’ll want to be sure to have sensible shoes. Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean you have to wear plain, old sneakers for your entire vacation. You can wear comfortable flats or stylish wedges and not have to worry about sore feet at the end of the day. As cute as your new heels are, you may want to consider sticking with shoes that are more comfortable. You should also remember to pack a pair of sandals for trips to the pool.

Swimwear and Breathable Clothing

There are many fantastic pools and spas throughout Napa Valley. Thus, you’ll want to pack a good swimsuit. What better way is there to spend your days than relaxing by the hotel pool under the hot sun? You should pack some breathable clothing such as thin shirts and sundresses. These will make your Napa Valley wine tours much more enjoyable.

Evening Outfits

Napa wine tours are the biggest draw for tourists in the area, but that doesn’t mean the nightlife is lacking. Pack a few formal outfits for evenings at nice restaurants. You’ll want to be prepared to take in the fantastic culinary scene. Jeans and T-shirts can only get you so far. Try a dress or slacks and a button-down shirt.

Outer Layers

California is a desert. This means the days are hot and the nights are cold. You’re going to learn quickly that Napa Valley experiences a wide range of temperatures. Be sure to pack a jacket or sweater. You might even want a nice scarf. A couple of outer layers should keep you sufficiently warm throughout the nights of your trip.

Protections

You’ve heard about all the clothing you’ll need but you’ll also need to pack some protection from the sun. This means sunscreen to prevent burning, aloe vera in case you do get burned, and a hat to keep the sun off of your face. Add in some sunglasses to keep from squinting at the sun while on tours and you’ll be set to enjoy your vacation without any problems.

Purses and Bags

Now that you’ve packed all the shoes, clothes, accessories, and sun protection that you need, you’ll want to pack something to carry your stuff around in. Carrying a bag around will make it easy to hold your sunscreen, wallet, and keys. It will also make it easy to store your trinkets and souvenirs as you explore the valley. It’s significantly easier to hold one bag over your shoulder than it is to hold multiple shopping bags while wandering through vineyards and downtown.

With all of these items, you will be prepared for all of your Napa Valley tours from San Francisco. Be sure to pack enough to enjoy any adventure that you can find throughout the valley. For more information, visit Bin 415 at https://www.bin415.com/.
