For some groups, they want to be dropped off at the front of each winery, “ok, see you in an hour.” For others, having a sommelier guide along with them throughout each tasting helps fill in the blanks and add additional narratives/laughs/sarcasm…. Our goal is to understand what you want to get out of the day and guide you through an experience that exceeds your expectations. Rest assured, each of us is well grounded in hospitality–having worked in wineries, restaurants, wine bars, and luxury hotels throughout the Bay Area–thus we understand the importance of setting the right tone and mood for the day.
Don’t know what you want? We can plan the whole day for you; a typical day is 3-4 wineries plus lunch at an established restaurant like Michael Chiarello’s Bottega or a terrace table at Auberge du Soleil. We’ll handle all restaurant and winery reservations, your only responsibility is to relax, have fun, and drink wine.
